A new beginning

     I am trying out some new things. After reading the syllabus and what we have to do for this class I decided my theme would be "The Old Scholar." I figured that since we are historians and we study "old" things, that would be a great name. It has nothing to do with my age. OK, so it is my attempt at being clever.
     I figure I can have a portfolio page for "The Old Scholar", a blog for this class and other classes if I feel so inclined, and then links to my different projects. I guess the main page should really point to different classes and then those classes would point to the projects for that class - but already I'm starting to think like a programmer and putting things in nice hierarchical order. It seems logical to me - but that is why computer program interfaces are usually so bad, they only make sense to programmers. But this design would allow me to have a central location that will accommodate all work I do in the future, all linked to the main portfolio page. What do you think?
